Abstract

An analytical procedure for quantitative determination of Ti, Fe, Si, Al, Na, Cr, Th, U in a background contained a certain amount of zirconium was established using ICP-MS to support the quality control of pure ZOC product. The ZOC was studied for its production at the ITRRE under the framework of a project encoded as VINATOM (06/09/NLNT) which has been intended to export. The analytical results obtained from the ITRRE laboratory and that from a Japanese manufacturer showed a good agreement.
